Q. How tall and wide do tangerine trees grow ? I want to grow one but im worried that it may over grow. I want to grow a mini one not a huge one.

A. Good Morning Joey, You may want to look into a dwarf Satsuma Mandarin Orange Tree. I have had my tree for eight years. You will need an area eight (8) feet in diameter, and it will grow to about six feet tall. You will love the fruit. Very easy to grow and eat. The fruits have almost no seeds, and they are very sweet. i have nine (9) rare fruit trees. I try to grow fruits you cannot buy in the grocery stores. Also, check out the price of a can of Mandarin Oranges. Good luck. You and your family have a nice day. Peace, from the other sunshine state, Los Angeles.

Is It OK To Eat A Tangerine Peel?
Q. Just read that tangerine peels can help fight cancer. Sounds great to me, but is it actually ok to eat a tangerine peel? I always thought that orange and tangerine peels were bad for the stomach.
Asked by HamOnRye - Wed Sep 12 11:15:26 2007 - - 9 Answers - 0 Comments
A. Wash it first (pesticides) then eat. You can digest this part of the tangerine, and there is a lot of vitamins inside. I would stick to organic grown ones, you never know what type of chemicals they will use to make them grow.

Lemon and tangerine trees, do they need to be pollinated to produce fruit form the flowers?
Q. my tangerine tree is 3 years old and is beautiful but has never produced or flowered, my lemon tree now have approx. 10 blooms on it, but I don't know if I need/ or how to pollinant it. Please advise.
Asked by atakickone@sbcglobal.net - Sat Jan 13 15:29:08 2007 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments
A. They do not need pollinators. They need full sun. It takes about 5 years for fruit trees to start bearing well. I have lemon trees. The first tree had 2 lemons the first year, 0 the second, 2 3rd (at that point trees were on sale at Lowe's so I bought 4 more lemon trees...), then either in year 4 or 5 I had so many lemons on the original tree I gave some away. And I find one year one tree will do well, the next year a different one will have a bumper crop.

How do i tell the sex of my tangerine Gecko?
Q. i just bought a tangerine geko but i have no idea what sex it is.if you have a website or know how to tell a boy geko from a girl geko please tell me.

A. Males have 2 bulges at the base of their tail (near their anus/butt), this is where their hemipenes are (reptiles have 2 penis's - one each side). Males will also have a row of pre-anal pores (which are small, round and transparent) going horizontally across between his legs. Females will not have hemipene bulges, their butt area will be smooth and level, with a small slit each side (these are their vaginas - they have 2). Females also do not have pre-anal pores that are as clear as males', they are virtually invisible. You did not say how old your gecko is, this visual test is mostly accurate when your gecko is 6 months of age or older - as this is when the things i mentioned become visible. Anyway, i hope this helped a little : ) P.S… [cont.]

A. Tangerine by Edward Bloor Summary So what if he's legally blind? Even with his bottle-thick, bug-eyed glasses, Paul Fisher can see better than most people. He can see the lies his parents and brother live out, day after day. No one ever listens to Paul, though--until the family moves to Tangerine. In Tangerine, even a blind, geeky, alien freak can become cool. Who knows? Paul might even become a hero! study guide.

They don't need much in the winter, even in citrus country it gets cold and sometimes freezes even during the winter. I always presumed they needed the semi-dormancy period, so maybe that's the problem. Yes, citrus does have unique fertilizer needs, I can't remember what but there's at least one trace nutrient it gets yellowed leaves if it doesn't get, and the easiest way to get that is to buy special fertilizer just for citrus. Of course, no plant likes it if your house is too dry, either, you don't say if that's the case here. The leaves do grow back, generally. What book should i read if i liked Tangerine by Edward Bloor and The Ousiders by S.E. Hinton?
Q. So loved Tangerine which i read in 7th grade. I loved The Outsiders which i read in 8th Grade. I like realistic fiction like those books. I'm 15 now, but it doesn't have to be such an adult book. I don't really like books that have female male characters cause i can't really relate to them. Lol That book Misery by Stephen King sounds interesting so i'll probably read it.

Does anyone remember The Healing Garden Tangerine therapy from walmart?
