Adjectiveautomotive
From Wiktionary under the GNU Free Documentation License. The automotive industry designs, develops, manufactures, markets, and sells the world's motor vehicles. The automotive industry is one of the most important economic sectors by revenue. The term automotive industry usually does not include industries dedicated to automobiles after delivery to the customer, such as repair shops and motor fuel filling stations. Worldwide TrendsIn 2007, worldwide production reached a peak at a total of 73.3 million new motorvehicles produced worldwide. In 2009, worldwide motorvehicle production dropped 13.5 percent to 61 million. Sales in the U.S. dropped 21.2 percent to 10.4 million units, sales in the European Union (supported by scrapping incentives in many markets) dropped 1.3 percent to 14.1 million units. China became the world's largest motorvehicles market, both by sales as by production. Sales in China rose 45 percent in 2009 to 13.6 million units. About 250 million vehicles are in use in the United States. Around the world, there were about 806 million cars and light trucks on the road in 2007; they burn over 260 billion gallons of gasoline and diesel fuel yearly. In the opinion of some, urban transport systems based around the car have proved unsustainable, consuming excessive energy, affecting the health of populations, and delivering a declining level of service despite increasing investments. Many of these negative impacts fall disproportionately on those social groups who are also least likely to own and drive cars. The sustainable transport movement focuses on solutions to these problems. From Wikipedia under the

I have tried "shout" and that doesn't work well, it lightens the stains but not very well. Does anyone know a good way to clean these items? Thanks. She says Fab works best on their oil soaked clothes.. Not only does it remove the grease, it removes the smell. I know that the seats have to come out, and possibly the seat belts, too. Then the carpet goes in. Sounds like a pretty big job. How hard is it? How much does it cost to hire somebody to do it? Also - If nobody knows the answer - is there a good automotive forum where I can ask this question? Thanks! Asked by Joe D - Wed Dec 16 16:02:00 2009 - - 1 Answers - 0 Comments A. all that and more comes out. A lot of the trim by the doors and if its a car with the shifter on the floor then some work there also. Its really not that big of a job and you will feel good about yourself when its done. Make sure its done in a warm area because things lay out better then.A mechanic should be able to do it in 4 to 5 hours , so what ever the rate is times the hours is your answer. No forum that i know of. Answered by Danny - Wed Dec 16 23:23:15 2009 What are the steps that someone would have to take to become an Automotive Technician?
Q. I'm looking to change careers because of the effects of outsourcing. What are the steps that I would have to take to become an Automotive Technician? Asked by Silencer - Tue Mar 23 02:20:41 2010 - - 5 Answers - 0 Comments A. Your best bet is to look into junior colleges around where you live who offer automotive training programs that prepare you for ASE certification. While going to school try to get an apprentice position at a shop that's hiring, and once you become ASE certified you can apply pretty much anywhere and demand more money as well. Keep in mind though just because you may get ASE certified means nothing until you learn the actual hands on part of the trade. Once you do gain employment at a shop or dealership most offer some type of on going training, The automobile industry is progressing so rapidly it's getting to the point where you have to be more of a diagnostic/ trouble shooting computer guru just to keep up. Good luck and hope this helps.
