Q. Ok so, im in algebra, and we are starting a new lesson. About doubling dimensions and finding the area. my teacher said, *change 1 dimension original volume x Scale Factor= New Volume *change 2 Dimensions original volume x SF x SF = volume x SF^3 =New Volume *change 3 dimensions Volume x SF x SF x SF = Volume x SF^3 = New Is this right? can u explain it more? one of the question is, The Brazos Valley Pecam Shoppe sells pecans in boxes of two different sizes. Both size boxes are rectangular prisms. The box has a volume of 90in^3 and the dimensions of the large box are twice the size of the dimensions of the small box. What id the volume of the large storage unit? Justify your answer?

What is this thing?!?
Q. So I'm laying in bed and I feel something weird on my leg. I look down and there's a bug on me. It's about 1/4-1/2 and inch long, silver, skinny, not segmented, has one pair of antenna on its head and then another set of what looks like antenna on its rear. I have looked up many insects and the closest thing I can find are earwigs and silverfish, but unlike the silverfish I've seen, this does not have three "rods" on the rear, but only two (I only looked for a second so I COULD be mistaken but I don't think so). If it helps, I live in the Brazos Valley area of Texas.
