We were previously having problems with his computer freezing so we did the upgrade. I installed everything and the computer turns on yet when I try to boot it off a CD the screen goes black after the screen that says "press any key to boot off disk" also the screen goes black after the start up screen. I restart my computer and i get the beep to tell me it is turning on. Everything is running but the bios and startup screens do not come on, in fact, the monitor is completely black. Q. Ive seen people turn thier flat computer screens vertically, as opposed to the standard horizontal position, and the web pages come out vertically on the screen. Its runs on Windows xp. Where do I go to change to vertical veiw? Ive looked in control panel under display, but I didnt find anything refering to this change.
